I am asked often about Reiki sessions, how they work and I am always eager to share that as a Reiki Master and Spiritual Healer that I am in service as a channel for Reiki energy, which is a type of healing energy that comes from God or the Universal Source. Hands on healing can be traced back thousands of years in other forms as related by Biblical, and other cultural histories.
I also explain that since I am a Channel for Reiki that other information may come through during the bodywork session since I am an intuitive empath. I always ask if the client would like to know this information since it is not the intended purpose of the Reiki session but a wonderful healing accompaniment and almost 99% of clients give their permission to hear the messages from Spirit. What comes through in a session is often surprising yet meaningful to the client.
When people come to me for a grief-related healing sessions, whether it be grief through loss of a loved one going through a physical transition, or experiencing grief because they have lost some part of themselves to which they identified and they're making changes to shift into a new awareness of wholeness, Spirit always indicates exactly what needs to be said. Great releases of emotional energy can accompany the sessions and there is a catharsis experienced by many.
I offer distance Reiki, which is just as effective as an in person session. Many of my coaching clients are given Reiki while on the phone with me in order to jump start clearing of blockages in order to heal and move forward.
I was also certified in the art of Jin Shin Accutouch by Barbara Clark. In her words: "Within Oriental tradition, pain and disease in the body or mind stem from, and are manifested by a stagnation or blockage in the vital life force energy called Chi," says Barbara Clark, teacher of Jin Shin Acutouch and director of the International Professional School of Bodywork (IPSB) in San Diego.
