I am. The statement, I am that I am, reflects the wholeness of the construct of the universe. 
Conveying this thought of self-sovereignty to Western culture is blasphemous to many religious thinkers, for to some, GOD is OUT there, thus setting up a paradigm of dependence., not independence. The duality of separateness is the lynch pin that holds the traditional religious group dynamic in the victim status. 
To say I am and then feel and act with joy as a Divine Creator in the Universe is why we exist. 
The feeling of not good enough or that your family, employer, or bank somehow holds power over you as it relates to your life is like being in a boat that has a slow leak! 
No matter how many buckets of water you scoop out,  the action is repeated, endlessly, until the whole is plugged. The whole (hole) is YOU! Plug the hole and build your life! Start with taking back your power—not an abusive, competitive or angry power—rather the powerful essence of LOVE.
